One of my favorite landmarks of my home state of Maryland is the historic site of Amos Mill. It is located in Harford County on Amos Mill Road, the same road where I grew up. Amos Mill is believed to have been built somewhere between 1771 and 1781. It was a stone-ground flour mill during its prime. When I lived there, of course, it was a non-working mill and had been out of business since 1967. In my childhood it wasn't this pretty red mill as it is today. It definitely looked its age back then. I'm so happy to learn this past summer when I was back visiting family of its renovation! My brother and SIL drove me to see it. I loved it and was inspired to draw this picture.
Size: 8 x 10 inches
Its smaller size (but definitely not too small) is perfect for framing and hanging on a wall, propping up on a shelf, or sitting on a countertop or desk.
This art design is also available in greeting cards, notecards, and 5x7 art prints. Please don't forget to check them out!
This art print is made from my original digital design and printed on sturdy 100 lb. matte cardstock paper by a printing company in my area.
I always take extra precaution when shipping my products. I carefully wrap each item in a clear protective sleeve and add a thick piece of cardboard to prevent bending during shipping. And I always add in a FREEBEE with every single order!
I like to use USPS first-class mail for shipping unless a buyer asks me to use another method.
